The status quo of the inbound logistics for auto parts and the characteristics of Milk-run mode are presented and the main problems existing in Milk-run operations of domestic auto parts logistics are summarized. On this basis, a new Milk-run mode for auto parts logistics based on third-party logistics is proposed and for its implementation a three-stage operation process is devised.
